I’m a born Texan, and have lived here all my life. I’m a married father of two grown kids and now have a new grandson. In all, I have a total of 25 years of experience in IT. My first job was working in IT for the state and city governments in Texas, and I've now been at First Rate for 19.5 years. My entire career at First Rate has been in the Managed Hosting department which is responsible for making sure the client application is available and operating efficiently so our clients have access to the information they need. Part of my time is spent helping coordinate the team of technicians from a technical perspective on day-to-day tasks and projects. The other part is spent planning and helping to execute the strategic objectives for the Managed Hosting department.
I’m from Odessa, Texas, home of Permian High School made famous by the book and movie ‘Friday Night Lights’. I attended Permian High School and was a junior during the 1988 season that was captured in the book and movie.
