It was a monumental week for First Rate as we unveiled the first-ever First Rate Wealthtech Connect! An immersive experience bringing our leaders, community members, innovators, and cherished clients together for a multi-day journey into the future of First Rate. We connected our origins to the future that is unfolding in our industry.
Here are the highlights -
Rooted in our foundations, First Rate’s values of Love, Give, Serve, & Enjoy were on display as we navigated throughout the conference. We shared the 'why' behind First Rate to some of our new clients. And we reminded our returning guests who we are and our firmness in those values. We also gave updates on our global expansion, shaping the next era of excellence at First Rate. Representatives from our latest acquisitions were also brought to the stage to testify on what transitioning into First Rate’s team and client base looked like.
Our team unveiled the latest enhancements and innovations in our currently available Core 2.0 product. This solution set is answering the needs of the Wealth management industry. Clients had the opportunity to explore new features within our readily available platforms.
Embodying our commitment to the value of “Serve,” we dedicated time in the day’s agenda to giving back to our local community beyond technology. Attendees got to participate in packing sack lunches, a quarterly tradition that First Rate participates in. The lunches benefit the homeless in the Arlington Life Shelter.
Startups that will redefine tomorrow! First Rate is a title sponsor in the largest Wealthtech Accelerator, The Founders Arena. We invited the inaugural cohort to join us onstage and give our audience overviews of the newest ideas for making wealth management easier and more relevant.
Attendees joined in on two separate breakout sessions; fostering discussions and creating a platform for peer trust and networking.
In 2020, Dave and Trina Stone envisioned a coworking space that encouraged connections and conversation when they remodeled the First Rate U.S. offices. Our clients got to visit them for the first time during an interactive happy hour experience. Here, we had a local mixology team, Betty Cocktails, giving guests an experience with themed drinks and a build-your-own bitters station.
The conference ended with a themed dinner event, The Stars at Night. What a beautiful and fun way to celebrate our clients' presence with dining, drinks, and entertainment from local duo, The Vintage Yell. To wrap up the night, guest speaker Derrick Kinney with Good Money Framework took the stage for a presentation on using money for good.
This First Rate Wealthtech Connect kickoff has set a high standard for our future gatherings. The energy, innovation, and connections have paved the way for an exciting journey. We are looking forward to the next one!
