Trina Stone, Executive Chair & Co-Founder, has been with First Rate from the very beginning. She has helped see First Rate grow out of her dining room into a successful company.

Trina graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Bio-Chemistry. Stone started her career as a pharmaceutical sales rep for McNeil Pharmaceuticals. Upon moving to Texas, she worked with Bristol Myers and then started an accounting career with a Dallas based company, where she discovered she loved working with money and the details of finance. Once First Rate was founded, she became the accountant responsible for keeping First Rate afloat. In the early years she wore all the hats pertaining to accounting, financing, taxes and human resources. She has experienced lots of On-the-Job training.

Through the years of serving at First Rate, she has also been very involved with raising three children, serving her community through volunteering for PTA, booster and choir board positions, church treasurer, and FCA chapters.
For the last 17 years, Trina has served an International Mission, Youth with a Mission, first by participating in short term mission trips to Tijuana to build homes for the poor and then by serving as Chairman of the Board for the base in San Diego, CA. The last four years she and David A. Stone have pioneered a school for Business as Missions within the YWAM community internationally.
