Layne Wharton, Client Service Manager, is responsible for managing client relationships within Service Bureau and oversees a team of strong industry professionals. She joined First Rate is 2012 and has thoroughly enjoyed serving and supporting her clients through education of best practices and recommending process improvements.
Wharton began her performance measurement career at Cambridge Associates, a global investment consulting firm, where she was responsible for the performance reporting for numerous large family offices, endowments and foundations. Prior to joining First Rate, she was working in the Investment Division of the Teacher’s Retirement System of Texas.
Wharton graduated from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she received her BBA in Finance. She currently resides in Fort Worth with her husband.
