Kate Baird

General Manager, Service Bureau

Kate Baird, General Manager of Service Bureau, has been with First Rate since 1994. Baird is responsible for developing the business-process-as-service for First Rate’s full service clients. 

Prior to her arrival at First Rate, Baird was a business analyst at the SEI Corporation for their employee benefit record-keeping system. She started her career in the performance measurement industry in 1986 working as a manager of client service for the investment performance department at SEI. In this role, she was responsible for documentation, client support, client implementations and production of performance results. Baird is committed to her community and serves on the board of the Levitt Pavilion and Arlington Life Shelter, and leads worship each Sunday.

Baird graduated from Augustana College in South Dakota. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in business administration with concentration on management.
