First Rate Lightning – Powerful Reporting in a Flash

The banking landscape in America has been dominated by large financial institutions the last few decades. However, the community bank still plays an integral role in the fabric of communities across the country. These banks put a premium on personalized customer service and relationships.

First Rate has been providing a robust performance reporting platform to large trust institutions since 1992. Our niche has been the ability to process hundreds of thousands of returns each night and then serve up these returns through our various reporting layers. First Rate Advisor Express is a web based reporting tool that allows investment professionals to log in and quickly run report packages on their various accounts.

Users can run any of our approximately 80 report templates through Advisor Express but in serving clients over the years we’ve found that most clients, regardless of size, will almost always run the same package of 5 or so templates and then supplement them with some of our other reports.

The Lightning report package includes our most commonly run report which includes financial data, return information, and allocation information all on one page. Lightning Plus includes the Lightning report plus additional templates which show data all the way down to the position level.

Our desire is to offer the same quality of reporting to investment institutions of any size. We have partnered with a data aggregator to help with normalizing and reconciling your data so that we can compute performance on any client regardless of the custodian. We have also partnered with the leading asset classification firms to map assets into industry and style-based asset classes.
